Keen to join the Rhythm & Alps volunteer crew? We want you!
Rhythm & Alps runs over two nights, from 30 December to 1 January. As the South Island’s premier music festival, the event welcomes up to 10,000 festivalgoers.
The festival is situated in the beautiful Cardrona Valley, surrounded by New Zealand’s mighty Southern Alps—just 40 minutes from Queenstown and 15 minutes from Wānaka.
We are currently recruiting an exceptional team of committed and enthusiastic volunteers to join our crew across a variety of roles.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Complete the application form below. This will help us get to know you a little better, so please don’t be shy!
Wait for confirmation. If your application is successful, we will send you an email inviting you to join the crew. We receive hundreds of volunteer applications each year, so please be patient with us. If you need to follow up, email volunteer@rhythmandalps.co.nz.
Pay your festival ticket bond to confirm your position. To help us secure a reliable and committed team, every volunteer is required to pay a $300 bond. Your bond will be refunded as soon as possible after the festival, minus any credit card fees, once we have confirmed that all your shifts were completed. Your place on the team is not confirmed until the bond has been paid.
You’re in! Sit back and relax while we organise the roster. We aim to provide your shift times before you arrive at the festival, so you can plan your dancing around them. Your shifts will total no more than 24 hours across the festival period.
Come and join the crew for an unforgettable New Year’s celebration!
If this sounds good to you and you would like to be part of the team bringing our New Year’s festival to life, complete the application form as soon as possible—places are limited and will fill quickly.
We couldn’t bring R&A to life without our amazing volunteers. Good luck with your application!
